What is the sizing on your skirts?
Since all our skirts are made from high quality stretch jersey, they are in alpha sizes (S, M, L, XL).
What size should I order?
Ah, the ever present question. Check our size chart to understand how your measurements translate to our sizing. For quick reference, our sizes are based on your pant size: S: 2-4, M: 6-8, L: 10-12, XL: 14-16
How do your skirts fit? Are they true to size?
Our skirts fit and flatter. Our pencil skirts are fitted through the hip and relaxed through the knee with a slight taper at the bottom. Our skirts generally fit true to size unless otherwise noted on the specific product listing. Check out our size chart to see the measurements in inches. Those measurements correspond to your actual body measurements, so whip out that measuring tape and see how you measure up! You can also gauge based on your typical pant/shirt size. Here’s how they correspond: S: 2-4, M: 6-8, L: 10-12, XL: 14-16
Do you carry plus sizes?
We love ladies of all sizes and aspire to make skirts to match that love. However, right now we only carry sizes S-XL. Check back with us often and sign up for our email list, as we’ll definitely announce when we do!
What are your skirts made out of?
The softest, most comfy yoga pants material…aka cotton/lycra (amazing, right?!) They are soft and stretchy and hold their shape beautifully. Plus, skirts that feel like yoga pants? Heck yeah!
How do I wash my skirt?
You can wash on warm and tumble dry on medium…but let’s be honest, you can throw it in with your other laundry and it will do just fine! That’s how I wash mine and they’re still in beautiful shape.
Where are your skirts made?
In my geekchicfashion studio in North Carolina.
Who makes your skirts?
Why I do, of course! (Me being Lysandra, Owner/Designer). All skirts are handmade by me, so please understand that slight variations from what is shown in the photos are possible.
Where do you find your fabric?
Secrets, secrets! Just kidding! We source our fabric from a number of high quality vendors we’ve discovered along the way. Feel free to email me if you want details on a specific fabric print/color.
Do you make your graphic tees?
I have many skills, sadly screen printing isn’t one of them! I design the graphics then I work with an amazing husband & wife team in Raleigh, NC to have the shirts printed on high quality Bella + Canvas t-shirts. Currently these run small, so be sure to size up.
How do your graphic tees fit?
Our graphic tees tend to run a bit small. I would recommend sizing up for a comfortable fit.
Do your products ever go on sale?
Yeah girl! What kind of brand would we be without a good sale! Promotions happen several times throughout the year, so join our email community to stay up to date on our latest promotions, get fashion tips and new collection updates!
How do your gift card works?
We have physical gift cards and egift cards. Our physical gift cards work just like any other. You receive them via mail (they can be mailed to friend) and they feature of coupon code on back. When you (or a friend) check out you can input the code on the website.
When you purchase the egift card you will be prompted to input your recipient’s name, email address and any special message you’d like to send, plus the send date (i.e. you can purchase in advance for a birthday or holiday). The egift card will then be emailed to your recipient who will receive a unique coupon code in the dollar amount you have chosen. They can then shop online and input the code at checkout.
When do your gift cards expire?
Our gift cards don’t have an expiration date, but we encourage you to use them as soon as possible so you don’t miss out of your favorite styles!
REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
Satisfaction Guarantee is my Promise! I am so confident that you will adore your geek chic style that I offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. For that reason, and your happiness of course, I offer a Money Back Guarantee within 30 days of shipment of your order or Full Exchanges within 90 days for any unwashed and unworn items. If the same product is not available for exchange, you can select another item and will be refunded or billed the difference.
I ask that you contact me first thing if your purchase does not meet your expectations and you can reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do note, the buyer is responsible for the cost of the return or exchange. If an exchange is desired, geekchicfashion will pay for reshipment of the new item.
What do I do if my skirt doesn’t fit?
We always strive to help you find the best possible fit! If for some reason you receive your skirt and it doesn’t fit like you imagined, please email email@example.com and we can arrange a return/exchange per the guidelines above.
How much does shipping cost?
We ship everything via USPS Priority Mail which costs $6.50 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item.
How long does it take to get my order?
Currently, we ship all orders within 5-7 business days via USPS Priority Mail.
Items are neatly packaged in water resistant material to ensure that your purchase makes it to your doorstep as beautifully as it was intended. I provide shipping information for all packages outgoing, including tracking information when available.
Will my order come wrapped? Do you do gift wrapping?
I take great care in carefully packaging your products with tissue paper with beautiful branding. If you would like them to be specially gift wrapped within the box, please let me know via email at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’m happy to make that happen for you.
Do you ship internationally?
I certainly do to most, but not all places! International orders may take slightly longer as they must go through customs, but we will do our best to ensure that you receive your item in a timely manner.
What happens if my package is damaged in shipping?
I hope that this doesn’t happen, but we all know how shipping can be. If your package is damaged upon arrival, please send a photo of the package and product inside to email@example.com. If your product is damaged we will do our best to get you a new or similar product ASAP and handle the dispute with the USPS. Always feel free to email me if you have a question.
